Solace

On October 28th, 2006 my Grandfather passed away at the age of 92. He was a Lt. Colonel in WWII, giving over 37 years of his life to the United States Army. He was a fighter and a soldier until the very end, "longing for the solace of the battlefield." The following is a 3 minute multimedia piece documenting the days immediately following his death.
